2012 the apocolypse!

It has come to my attention that over the next five years, aside from the impending Presidential race, the coming of the apocolypse will be front and center. Movies, tv shows, National Geographic documentaries, etc...

an I love this shit too! Can't get enough! Eat it up as if its the last meal I'll have.

There are already numerous shows, articles, books, websites, and all sorts of things pointing to this date Dec. 12th, 2012. Mainly for one reason as I can tell from what I've read so far. That would be that the Mayan calendar ends on this date.

I can't get over how many people jump on board with this kind of stuff.. Are peoples lives that bad that this is what they get excited about? Don't tell me its fear, because there is nothing to fear. I believe the folks that get into this type of thins truly want the world to end. For whatever reasons... But its absolutely comical to me.

Anywho... Play the Hoy tonight on FT...

Interestingly enough, Terrence McKenna centered in on the same date, in the same year, as the specific time when a "consciousness shifting" event will take place that will thrust humanity into a new era (this was published, btw, in a book that came out 12 years before the Mayan calendar end date was ever made public... one of those interesting coincidence thingies.)
