If you haven't noticed, I have been preoccupied lately. I have spent less and less time on IM, and haven't posted nearly as much as I used to.
There are reasons, obviously. I spent a good amount of time live blogging the Borgata $500k, I've been dealing with business issues, and of course, it's tax time, so that consumes a lot of my day.
But the largest chunk of time has been looking for a new place to stay. I have acquired some new business interests, and unfortunately, it will take me away from where I've spent my entire life.
That's right. The fam and I are moving west. And not just west. We are heading out of country to Canada. ARE YOU KIDDING?
Um, actually, no. I've spent the last few months looking for real estate, and as it happens, this clown had an extra place that he needed to dump. It's an ok place, and the wife likes it (she's only seen it online) so we will make an offer today via my attorney.
It will be weird to say the least having not only to move, but to move out of country. I dig the upper North West, so I am expecting fun things. The business aspect of it makes me feel lucky. In these times, it's almost impossible to find funding, but hey, I'm a rock star. So it got done.
I expect the move to take at least 3 months. I will be there first, and the wife and fam will come in tow over the next three months while they handle our affairs back home.
I have made arrangements with my ventures here to be looked after without giving up ownership, and will most likely expand that part of the business out west as well.
Things are looking good! We are all excited about the opportunity that has presented itself, and I fully expect to make the most of it.
You can see the new digs at the link below. Assuming the ghey master agrees to terms. I'll most likely play the mookie tonight, and then probably go dark for a good month.
Wish us luck! Here is the link to the property.
