Phone Book Question

What does the # sign mean when it is placed in front of any random word or phrase. I don't tweet and I think it has something to do with that.

There... I asked. I'm not afraid to look stupid either.

Explain away. Oh, and have a good weekend.

P.S. any other tweetisms that you think coincide with the # sign should be included as well. :)

Derived from old school unix the hash symbol (#), at the beginning of a line, is used to denote a comment within a given program.

#####This is skidoos kewl program #######

if | you %suck
Teh;

$blowme
:)
;
End
#### I ROOL####
